This is the second time I had the pleasure of hearing Joan speak and both times were very impactful. She tailored her presentation to the audience and was extremely engaging. Joan’s ability to hold the attention of a large room was impressive. I look forward to hearing her speak again.

I was not originally planning to attend the Illinois Conference on Volunteer Administration (ICOVA) last month, but went in place of a coworker who was ill. I’m so glad I did because I was blown away by the presenter in the first session I attended: Joan Moore. Ms. Moore captivated the audience with her relatable and engaging style. In just a short time, we learned a great deal about public speaking including the elements of a great presentation and impromptu speeches. I enjoyed her presentation so much that I joined Toastmasters! I hope to be an excellent speaker like Joan Moore one day.
